Educating the Community
Since its inception, the Muath Trust has strived to offer high quality education and training and provided essential services that cater for the needs of different sections of the community.
The Centre hosts a range of educational activities including a day nursery, supplementary Arabic schools, adult education and vocational training centre, and much more.
Amanah Day Nursery
The Day Nursery registered in 2000, provides a holistic nurturing caring environment and delivers a moral and spiritual education guided by Islamic ethos. It is open to all sections of the local community and has the capacity to enrol around 57 children aged 2 years to 5 years each year.
The nursery is well-resourced and the children have access to an enclosed outdoor play area. It employs dedicated qualified staff who are trained in safeguarding and child protection and is open each weekday from 8am until 6pm all year round except for bank holidays.
The Nursery follows the Early Years Foundation Stage which ensures a broad balanced education for the children. The Nursery received a judgement of ‘Good’ in all areas at the last Ofsted inspection in 2016.
We cater for children from 2 years to 5 years. We offer the 2 year old funding, as well as the 3 and 4 year old free nursery education funding of 15 hours or 5 sessions. We also offer 30 hours free funding for 3-4 years olds for working parents.
