Students Facilities & Activities


Excellent child care facilities

There is a fully equipped on-site registered nursery run byprofessionally trained staff that caters for children aged between two to five years.

Women only common room

This newly decorated room provides our female students an opportunity to relax and meet together.

On site library

The Library has a growing range of books and CD's to support students in their studies. There is also a librarian to help students with their research and free internet access.

Prayer facilities

we have an on-site mosque with separate female and male prayer areas.

Halal canteen

The canteen provides hot food and drinks. There is
also a shop on site that provides a range of food and other items.

Multimedia facilities and internet access

Our centre has two new computer suites with a wide range of soft ware and equipment (e.g. video conferencing, an electronic board, digital camera, etc). All the computers have Internet access so that you can do all your research, homework and e-mailing!

Trips and cultural events

Every year students participate in a popular and varied programme of trips, social and cultural events. There is always something for everyone!!!

Sports and recreation

The Centre contains a sports hall complete with sports equipment and badminton courts. We run fitness sessions, self defence classes, badminton sessions, and a variety of recreational events for women.

The Amanah youth club

There is a youth club available for our students. The club has pool and table tennis tables, computer games, competitions and a whole range of other activities.

Islamic society

Students can join our active Islamic Society for sisters, which runs once a week. There are talks and a social event every month and more!

We are currently providing Esol up untill level 1, we also provide gateway courses which link esol with alternative courses such as childcare.
All our courses are available as of September 2010.

walaikum salaam thankyou for your enquiry, unfortunately the self defense classes are no longer running, but we may have some more sessions starting in the near future.
